    An explosive ordnance disposal team robot drives by an area suspected as a hiding place for a roadside bomb during a route clearance mission June 2 by Soldiers from 1st Squadron, 8th Cavalry Regiment, based out of Fort Hood, Texas, and attached in eastern Baghdad to the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division. The Soldiers discovered two roadside bombs and disposed of them during the mission in eastern Baghdad.
