An 8th Special Operations Squadron CV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft flies alongside a 15th Special Operations Squadron MC-130H Combat Talon II above Virginia, Aug. 24, 2018. Aircraft from the 1st Special Operations Wing, Hurburt Field, Florida, performed a flyover above the Air Force Memorial in Arlington, Virginia, honoring U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. John Chapman, a Special Tactics combat controller, who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his extraordinary heroism during the Battle of Takur Ghar in March 2002 while deployed to Afghanistan. Chapman is the 19th Airman to receive the Medal of Honor and the first Airman to be recognized with the honor since the Vietnam War. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Joseph Pick)
