U.S. Air Force airmen from the 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron push barrels of fuel aboard a C-17 Globemaster III, Sept 30, 2011. The crew of the C-17 will drop 40 bundles of supplies to a remote outpost in Afghanistan. Aerial delivery of critical supplies decreases the total number of resupply convoys conducted in high threat areas.
