U.S. Marines unload bundles of food that were airdropped to Forward Operating Base Edinburgh, Oct 3, 2011. After the supplies hit the ground, Marines load the bundles on trucks and take them back to the FOB. Aerial delivery of food and water allows Marines to get some critical supplies without having to rely on risky ground convoys.
