Army National Guard Lt. Col. John Gutauskas (left) presents Jean-Pierre Brouillon with a certificate of appreciation July 25, 2018, at the Musarde Farm near Landres-et-Saint-Georges, France. Brouillon, who owns the land where National Guard Soldiers from the 42nd “Rainbow” Division fought on Oct. 15-16, 1918, hosted current National Guard Soldiers for lunch and gave a private tour of the 100-year-old trenches where their units fought during the Meuse-Argonne Campaign. The Soldiers were in France July 24-31 as part of the U.S. Army’s World War I Centennial Commemoration. (Ohio National Guard photo by Sgt. 1st Class Joshua Mann)
