A boat crew aboard a 47-foot Motor Life Boat from Coast Guard Station Cape Disappointment patrols the Pacific Ocean 5 miles west of the Columbia River entrance, near Ilwaco, Wash., Aug. 29, 2018.

The crew was scheduled to do a live-fire training with a mounted M-240 weapons system, but the training was cancelled due to low visibility.
