A Coast Guard boat crew aboard a 47-foot Motor Life Boat from Station Cape Disappointment transits into the harbor near Ilwaco, Wash., Aug. 29, 2018.

The 47-foot MLB is one of three different assets assigned to the station and is designed to operate in severe sea and weather conditions commonly found in the Pacific Northwest.
