PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 12, 2018) Sailors refuel an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Island Knights of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25 on the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48). Sailors and Marines from Ashland, part of the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit team are providing Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency and working with Guam and Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas’ civil and local officials in support of Typhoon Mangkhut recovery efforts.
