Cadets from Class 18-2 at the Idaho Youth ChalleNGe Academy work on assignments during one of their classes that state officials Jason Monks and Joe Palmer, along with military leaders, and principals from local Treasure Valley high schools, had the opportunity to visit while touring the facilities at the IDYCA located in Pierce, Idaho on Sept. 10, 2018. The IDYCA program's primary focus is reclaiming the lives of 16 to 18-year-olds who are at risk or have dropped out of high school, by getting them back on a path necessary to succeed as adults. Cadets are on their ninth week of the current 22-week program. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Becky Vanshur)
