U.S. Marines with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, conduct a mock casualty evacuation during a practice raid as part of the Vertical Assault Course aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 18. The Vertical Assault Course took place Oct. 10-21 to provide Marines and sailors of Bravo Company familiarization with air operations for their upcoming deployment as part the Battalion Landing Team for the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
