U.S. Marines with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, board a CH-53E Super Stallion at Marine Corps Air Station New River prior to conducting a practice raid during the Vertical Assault Course aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 19. The Vertical Assault Course took place Oct. 10-21 to provide Marines and sailors of Bravo Company familiarization with air operations for their upcoming deployment as part the Battalion Landing Team for the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
