180921-N-CE622-1180 TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (Sept. 21, 2018) Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Osei Bonsu, from Bronx, N.Y., right, and Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Bishop Sisemore, from Summers, Ark., participate in a mass casualty drill at a Comite Permanente de Contingencias (COPECO) facility as part of a subject matter expert exchange with Honduran emergency response medical personnel during Southern Partnership Station 2018. COPECO is an organization supporting the Honduran National Risk Management System and focuses on areas such as humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. Southern Partnership Station is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored and U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet-conducted annual deployment focused on subject matter expert exchanges and building partner capacity in a variety of disciplines including medicine, construction, and dive operations in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
