180921-N-CE622-1506 TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (Sept. 21, 2018) U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to Southern Partnership Station’s (SPS) Fleet Health Engagement Team, present certificates of participation to Honduran military professionals at a Comite Permanente de Contingencias (COPECO) facility during SPS 2018. COPECO is an organization supporting the Honduran National Risk Management System and focuses on areas such as humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. Southern Partnership Station is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored and U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet-conducted annual deployment focused on subject matter expert exchanges and building partner capacity in a variety of disciplines including medicine, construction, and dive operations in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
