A U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker pilot assigned to the 28th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron conducts a walk-around inspection of the aircraft on Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, Oct. 5, 2018. Pilots perform the inspection to ensure that the aircraft is in good operational condition and to ensure it is capable of meeting the mission at hand. The KC-135 provides aerial refueling to U.S. and coalition forces in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. U.S. Air Forces Central Command Airmen, Joint personnel and Coalition partners provide airpower effects across U.S. Central Command’s 20-nation area of responsibility reaching from Egypt to Afghanistan.
