Multiple A-10 Thunderbolt IIs assigned to Moody Air Force Base, Ga., taxis to a parking spot after landing at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., Oct. 9, 2018. Aircraft and personnel were evacuated as a precaution to protect them from Hurricane Michael. The A-10, commonly referred to as the Warthog, has excellent maneuverability at low air speeds and altitude, and is a highly accurate and survivable weapons-delivery platform. The aircraft can loiter near battle areas for extended periods of time and operate in low ceiling and visibility conditions. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Jeremy McGuffin)
