FORT MCCOY, Wis. (October 13, 2018) Electronics Technician Second Class Matthew Rubenzer and Boatswain's Mate Third Class Deyanira Diaz of Navy Operational Support Center - Madison help Sailors enter a HMMWV Egress Assistance Trainer (HEAT) at U.S. Army Garrison Fort McCoy. The HEAT training allowed Sailors to experience a simulated vehicle rollover during Mobilization Exercise (MOBEX) 2018. Rubenzer and Diaz received their HEAT Instructor certification earlier in the day.
NOSC - Madison holds MOBEX each year to provide Sailors a change-of-pace from a regular drill weekend and help ensure each one is familiar with the weapons and equipment required for them to mobilize downrange.
