    U.S. Marines with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 232,Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, handle an Advanced Targeting Forward Looking Infrared (ATFLIR) before installing it underneath an F/A-18C Hornet in support of Red Flag-Alaska (RF-A) 19-1 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, Oct. 17, 2018. ATFLIR can locate and designate targets day or night at ranges exceeding 40 nautical miles and altitudes surpassing 50,000 feet.
