William Hurley, a fixed-wing aircraft mechanic with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 232, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and A1C William Sanders with 354th Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) service an F/A-18C Hornet as it refuels from an R11 mobile refueling unit after a flight in support of Red Flag-Alaska (RF-A) 19-1 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, Oct. 17. RF-A is a series of U.S. Pacific Air Force commander-directed field training exercise for U.S. and coalition forces to provide a realistic joint offensive counter-air, interdiction, close air support and large-force employment training in a simulated combat environment.
