EAST CHINA SEA (Oct. 23, 2018) - An MV-22 Osprey assigned to the "Flying Tigers" of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 reinforced lands on the flight deck of amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). The Air Force variant CV-22 Osprey, assigned to the 353rd Special Operations Group, detachment 1, and Marine Corps MV-22 Ospreys are conducting joint training aboard Wasp to enhance joint interoperability at sea. Wasp, Flagship of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, is operating in the Indo-Pacific to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
