The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District conducted a load test for a crane that was recently installed on the former McCauley in Ashtabula Harbor, Ohio, October 16, 2018.
The load test will establish if the barge crane is safe to operate in water, which will allow for the continuation of critical federal infrastructure maintenance in the Great Lakes by the Buffalo District floating plant crew.
