191st CSSB participate in Virtual 5K run to boost morale

Soldiers with the 191st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 96th Sustainment Brigade, an Army Reserve unit based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, take part in a Day of the Dead Virtual 5K race at Powidz, Poland, Oct. 28, 2018.

A Virtual 5K is a run designed for participants to complete on their own time and at their desired location. This means participants are able to complete the 5K at any given time, whether they choose to run alone or as a group.

The race commemorates the Mexican holiday in which families remember and honor their deceased loved ones.

The 191st CSSB is currently deployed to Powidz, Poland as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve.

The unit’s mission is to support Operation Atlantic Resolve by providing movement control, fuel, water, distribution, ammunition, supply, maintenance, laundry, and postal support to ensure that the supplies needed for the Soldiers are prepositioned across Europe and available whenever needed.
