Gen. Mike Holmes, Air Combat Command commander, speaks during the Airlift/Tanker Association Symposium in Grapevine, Texas, Oct. 27, 2018. "This battlefield that we're considering has no boundaries anymore," said Holmes. "There are no hiding places. They can watch and they know what we're doing wherever we are, and there are no sanctuaries, there are no safe areas in this competition of the future." Holmes went on to say that to compete in this new era, Airmen must embrace multi-regional, multi-domain, and multi-service approaches. "Those multi-regional, multi-domain, and multi-service approaches rely on the mobility advantage that you have given the United States in the past and that we'll continue to rely on in the future." A/TA provides mobility Airmen a professional development forum to engage with industry experts within the mobility enterprise, attend seminars focused on mobility priorities, and listen to leadership perspectives from top leaders in the Air Force and Department of Defense.
