CAMP TAQADDUM, Iraq: Petty Officer 3rd Class Curtis Brouse, a corpsman with Alpha team, Bravo Company, 2d Military Police Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 25, 2d Force Service Support Group (Forward), holds a book with a poem depicting the description of a corpsmen in the face of battle. (This poem was passed on to me from [Petty Officer 1st Class] Ganiere, my mentor who taught me everything I know about the (green side) of a corpsman job,) said the Peculiar, Mo., native. This is Brouse third time deploying to Iraq since the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
