U.S. Army Spc. Jared Yoakam (left), 26 teaches U.S. Army Pfc. Craig Lewis, 19, the skills necessary to become a Black Hawk crew chief in the doorway of their UH-60M helicopter. Crew chiefs are responsible for the safety of all passengers and cargo on board the helicopter, and are the eyes and ears for pilots whose field of view is limited to what they can see from the cockpit.
