181030-N-NM435-0008 IWAKUNI, Japan (Oct. 30, 2018) Steelworker 3rd Class Eduard Puente, from Las Vegas, and assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, Det. Iwakuni, excavates the grounds for a waste enclosure structure project to benefit family housing units onboard Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
