    181110-N-XT039-1011 VIRGINIA CAPES (Nov. 10, 2018) Guided-missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf’s (CG 55) Visit Board Search and Seizure (VBSS) training team, conducts an on scene brief prior to a VBSS drill on the ship’s weather deck. USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) carrier strike group (CSG) cruiser-destroyer (CRUDES) units are conducting the first East Coast CRUDES Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) exercise. SWATT is led by the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) and is designed to increase warfighting proficiency, lethality and interoperability of participating units.
