First Lt. Robert Kane, a platoon commander with Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, looks back at his Marines during a practice exercise for a Surface Tactical Recovery of Aircraft, Personnel and Equipment course aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Nov. 16. The course took place Nov. 14-18 and was focused on training the Marines to conduct Surface TRAP missions for the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit using Light Armored Vehicles and High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles for their upcoming deployment.
