181109-N-UW828-1032 CAMP COVINGTON, Naval Base Guam (Nov. 9, 2018) Construction Mechanic 1st Class Jonathan Allen, middle, from Kaplan, La., and assistant officer in charge of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, Det. Guam, welcomes and briefs newly arrived Seabees. NMCB-3, Det. Guam is deployed to support NMCB-1 in conducting maintenance operations on civil engineering support equipment and general construction equipment. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
