Lt. Gen. Paul E. Funk, III Corps and Fort Hood commanding general, addresses Soldiers at Weslaco, Texas who are operating a logistics support activity in support of Customs and Border Protection missions Nov. 20. Funk thanked the Soldiers for their service and took time to answer any questions they had. The logistics operation at Weslaco is being run by Soldiers from the 1st Cavalry Division, 1st Armored Division, 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, and 4th Infantry Division. The troops here are under U.S Northern Command, which is providing military support to the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection to secure the southern border of the United States.
