A pile of packing material is set ablaze Nov. 23 at the drop zone near FOB Curry. The material helped encase a 4k forklift that was air dropped near the FOB and ensured its safe landing. It was the first forklift ever dropped in theater and weighing 15,000 pounds, it was also the heaviest platform ever dropped.
