British Army Maj. Gen. Christopher Ghika, deputy commander for Strategy and Information Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) salutes Task Force Besmaya soldiers during a transfer of authority ceremony at the Besmaya Range Complex, Iraq, Nov. 22, 2018. The Spanish Almogavares, Sixth Brigade is transferring authority to the Spanish Guzman El Bueno, Tenth Brigade. At Besmaya, the Coalition provides training for the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) and together, CJTF-OIR and the ISF will develop a sustainable and inclusive ISF that can secure its sovereign borders, protect the population and support a return to normalcy across the country and ensure the lasting defeat of Daesh.
