While use of personal phones during operations is usually frowned upon, the 110th Attack Wing, Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, Mich., has embraced the technology to use it to their advantage. The communications staff created an app to reach its members with information outside of drill weekend and also within certain situations during drill, such as the annual Wing award ceremony and assembly, Dec. 1, 2018, when members used the app to submit questions during the commander and command chief's town hall forum (Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt. Bethany Rizor/released).
