Following the ribbon cutting ceremony at the Joint Force Headquarters Armed Forces Readiness Center in Montgomery Ala., Lt. Col. Lee Desmond the design and project manager, Alabama Army National Guard, gives a tour of the building to The Adjutant General Maj. Gen. Perry G. Smith, 81st Regional Support Command's Maj. Gen. Gill P. Beck and 81st RSC Command Sgt. Maj. Jim Wills. Here, they are on their way toward the mess facility. The new facility replaces seven other older buildings and houses four Army Reserve units and three Army National Guard units. The units are: USAR - 7233rd Medical Support Unit, 358th Medical Detachment Veterinary Services, 282nd Quartermaster Company and the 206th Transportation Company; ALARNG - Joint Force Headquarters, 131st Mobile Public Affairs Detachment and the 151st Army band.
