Pfc. John Simmons an explosive ordnance disposal team member assigned to the 553rd Ordnance Battalion at Yakima Training Center, Wash., plugs in the remote for a Packbot 510 during the EOD Team Leader Training Academy at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Dec. 6. The 3rd Ordnance Battalion hosted the 20th Support Command Team Leader Training Academy in order to provide prospective EOD team leaders and team members with realistic scenario-based leader training in a controlled environment.
