PUERTO PRINCESA, Philippines (Dec. 10, 2018) - Capt. Michael Luckett, commanding officer of the submarine tender USS Emory S. Land (AS 39), welcomes Philippine Navy Capt. Edwin Nera, Commander, Philippine Submarine Group to the ship for a tour, Dec. 10. Land is in the Philippines on a scheduled port visit to provide maintenance, hotel services, and logistical support to submarines and surface ships in the 5th and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility.
