PUERTO PRINCESA, Philippines (Dec. 10, 2018) – Machinery Repairman 2nd Class Kyle Drummond, assigned to the submarine tender USS Emory S. Land (AS 39), describes machine room capabilities to members of the Philippine Navy during a tour, Dec. 10. Land is in the Philippines on a scheduled port visit to provide maintenance, hotel services, and logistical support to submarines and surface ships in the 5th and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility. Land's visit promotes ongoing theater security cooperation efforts furthering the longstanding partnership between the United States and Philippine navies.
