181207-N-LN093-0024 SAN DIEGO (December 7, 2018) – Sailors assigned to USS Omaha (LCS 12) Blue Crew stand at attention during a change of command ceremony held aboard the littoral combat ship Omaha. During the ceremony, Cmdr. John Barrientos relieved Cmdr. Michael Toth as commanding officer of USS Omaha (LCS 12) Blue Crew. LCS vessels are high-speed, agile, shallow draft, mission-focused surface combatants designed for operations in the littoral environment, yet fully capable of open ocean operations.
