Capt. Nick Roberge, the Marine Corps Shooting Team officer in charge and competition shooter, fires his pistol at the Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., Calvin A. Lloyd Range Complex, Dec. 8. Roberge, from Manchester, N.H., leads 11 Marines on the Corps' official shooting team. Marines from various military occupational specialties are recruited for the team after performing well in division shooting matches. The Marine Corps shooting team not only provides Marines a chance to represent the Corps in competitions around the globe, but allows the individual Marines to bring their gained knowledge and experience back to their units when they leave the team.
