Austin Shultz, with 774th Ordnance Company out of Fort Riley, Kan., carefully collects containers of chemicals from a structure suspected of being used to create chemically explosive material as part of a homemade explosives lab scenario during the largest 71st Ordnance Group (EOD) Team of the Year competition held at Fort Sill, Okla., Dec. 2-7, 2018. The week-long competition included intense EOD-specific training scenarios designed to be realistic and challenging.
