Explosive ordnance disposal team leader, Sgt. Nickolas Brodock, with the 759th Ordnance Company out of Fort Irwin, Calif., places small ordnance into an ammo can filled with sand for safe removal as part of a protective-works scenario during the largest 71st Ordnance Group (EOD) Team of the Year competition held at Fort Sill, Okla., Dec. 2-7, 2018. The week-long competition included intense EOD-specific training scenarios designed to be realistic and challenging.
