Marines and sailors remove chocks and chains from a Marine Corps CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans during a fast-rope exercise with the Maritime Raid Force of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit. New Orleans and embarked Marines assigned to the 11th MEU are conducting operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility as part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group commanded by Capt. Humberto Quintalla II.
