An SH-60H Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23 transports pallets of supplies from the Military Sealift Command fast combat support ship USNS Bridge to the multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island. New Orleans and embarked Marines assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit are conducting operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility as part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group.
