Brig. Gen. Craig Q. Timberlake attaches a ribbon to the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade unit colors during the 3rd MEB reactivation ceremony here Dec. 13. During the ceremony, Timberlake activated 3rd MEB, III Marine Expeditionary Force, and became commanding general, 3rd MEB, in addition to being the deputy commanding general of III MEF. 3rd MEB will be fully functional by the end of 2012.
