Kenneth J. Glueck Jr., commanding general of III Marine Expeditionary Force, addresses those attending to signify the importance of the reactivation ceremony of the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade and the relationship between the unit and III MEF. The MEB provides supported combat commanders with a scalable warfighting capability across the range of military operations. The Okinawa-based MEB is responsible for providing this capability throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
