Lt. Cmdr. Jesse Rangle, executive officer at Coast Guard Port Security Unit 312, and Chief Petty Officer Chris Obermeyer, maritime enforcement specialist at Coast Guard PSU 312, cut through barbwire to commence the opening of their reestablished quarterdeck at their unit during a dedication ceremony at the PSU San Francisco, Dec. 2, 2018. Coast Guard members from PSU 312 restored artifacts and displayed mementos to commemorate their wartime heritage and to honor the legacy set forth by their predecessors.
