U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Cory Christiansen of the U.S. Special Operations Command parachute demonstration team, the Para-Commandos, jumps from a U.S. Army UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter assigned to the 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 140th Aviation Regiment, California Army National Guard, and flown by personnel from the Los Alamitos Army Aviation Support Facility, during the final day of the Great Pacific Airshow, Oct. 21, 2018, in Huntington Beach, California. The three day event showcased military and civilian aviation to tens of thousands of people. The Para-Commandos are the DoD's only joint parachute team and features members from all service branches as well as DoD civilians.
