PORT GENTIL, Gabon (Dec. 10, 2018) Builder 2nd Class Robert Stewart, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, installs the shoot for a concrete truck during construction of the Maritime Operations Center (MOC) at the Gabonese Navy Base. The MOC construction is in support of exercise Obangame Express scheduled for March 2019. NMCB-1 is forward-deployed to execute construction, humanitarian and foreign assistance, and theater security cooperation in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
