Cpl. Christian Gallego, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego canine handler, gives Sita, military working dog, praises for doing a good job searching vehicles Dec. 1 at gate five. Sita searched random vehicles for explosive devices early Thursday morning. The six military working dogs in the Provost Marshal's Office canine unit are trained to detect explosives and narcotics while searching vehicles and patrolling the base.
