190124-N-SA412-1126 EAST CHINA SEA (Jan 24, 2019) -- A Marine prepares to drive an MRZR ultra-light ground mobility vehicle onto a CH-53E Super Stallion heavy-lift helicopter, assigned to the “Flying Tigers” of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 262 (Reinforced), on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp, flagship of Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
