190130-N-RI884-0305 PHILIPPINE SEA (Jan. 30, 2019) A Sailor aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) observes an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter, assigned to the "Island Knights" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, transport supplies during a replenishment-at-sea (RAS) with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Walter S. Diehl (T-AO 193) and the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48). Wasp and Ashland, part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, are operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
